Mamie "Ma" Margaret McDonnell

Mrs. Mamie Margaret "Ma" McDonnell passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2006, surrounded by her family. Mrs. McDonnell was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Gravis Lutzzi. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and worked most of her life in the food service industry. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin McDonnell; son, Thomas; grandsons, Nathan and Herbert Jude McDonnell; brothers, John and August Hartman, and sisters, Anna Budinich, Elvira Senseney and Gracie Vlahov. Survivors include her sons, Jude and Mike McDonnell, Sr. of Biloxi; grandchildren, Mike, Jr., Alvin, Terry, Tabitha, Thomas, Jessica, Selina, Evan, Grayson, Garrett and Chevelle; twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
