Mrs. Margaret Anne Crisp Cole, 80, of Latimer, was welcomed peacefully into the arms of God with her loving family by her side on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
Mrs. Cole was born on January 11, 1933 in Hickory, Oklahoma and was a longtime resident of the coast. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. She and her late husband spent their last few years together traveling the country in their motorhome, which was their dream. She was also a former member of both the Latimer and West Jackson County Volunteer Fire Department as well as a charter member of McClellan Road Baptist church.
Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Dow Cole, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Mattison Crisp and Myrtle Jane VanZant Crisp; brothers, William Crisp, Tince Crisp, and Joe Crisp; and sister, Alice Crisp Honeycutt.
Survivors include sister, Beatrice Crisp Stokes of Leeland, NC; three sons, Rev. William D. Cole, Jr., Bob (Cathy) Cole, and PeeWee (Peggy) Cole; daughter, Barbara Anne (Dennis) Cole Kilpatrick; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2014 beginning at 10:00 am with service at 1:00 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS. Burial will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. Brother Bill Renick will be officiating the service.
