Margaret Dore' Compton

Margaret Dore’ Compton, age 79, of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022.

Mrs. Compton was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to the Point in Biloxi when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Biloxi High School where she met her husband of 52 years, Dr. Thomas Compton. Mrs. Compton was an active member of the community having served as President of the Dogwood Garden Club, Program Chair of the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Junior Auxiliary, a long-time member of Les Masquees Carnival Association, and past queen of Revelers. She was a proud homemaker until her children left for college. She then began her career as a realtor and broker.

Mrs. Compton is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas Compton; her parents, Alice LeBlanc Premeaux and Wilson Dore’; and her granddaughter, Aubrey Nixon. Survivors included her daughters, Kris Fuller and Kim (Troy) Saucier; her grandchildren, Drew Nixon and Grace Fuller; and her brothers, Donnie (Lisa) Premeaux, Sr., and Allen (Sandy) Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS. Friends may visit an hour prior. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
