Margaret Jean “Peggy” Corcoran, 84, joined her husband on Monday, September 19, 2016.
Peggy was a longtime resident of Gulfport, although she was living in Orange Park, FL with her son since Hurricane Katrina. She was an avid bowler, scrabble player and world traveler. Peggy loved playing Words with Friends, gardening, shopping and giving advice.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Corcoran; her grandson, Kyle Lenza; and her brothers, Kenneth MacLaury, Gary Guntert and Roger Guntert.
Peggy’s survivors include her daughter, Maureen Corcoran; her sons, Kevin Corcoran and Brian Corcoran; her sisters, Brenda Williams and Kandy Collins; her brothers, Terry Guntert and Juddy MacLaury; her grandchildren, Michelle Corcoran, Christina Corcoran, Kenny Corcoran, Renee’ Dunlap, Leighann Corcoran and Kevin Lenza; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
