Margaret "Maggie" Marie Gill Chatham passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 after a long battle with illness.
Maggie was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on May 2, 1945, but grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi. Maggie was the oldest of three daughters. She had a large extended family in Biloxi and was lucky to be surrounded by them growing up. She also enjoyed visiting her mother's family in Minnesota, where she spent a lot of time during the summer with her cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. Gill and Marjorie L. Gill; and her husband, Roger Paul Chatham, III.
Maggie is survived by her daughters, Shannon Jones (Arthur) and Margaret Wilder (Chris); her grandchildren, Chris Wilder, Jr. (Kaitlin) and Kori Wilder; and great-grandchildren, Joseph and Daniel Wilder.
She leaves behind her sisters, Susan McMahen (Michael) and Julie Gibert (Gerard); her nephews, Bill Bailey and Nick Gibert (Rachel); and nieces, Grace Rushing (Joshua) and Alex Gibert.
Special thanks to Phil and Tiffany of Foundation Hospice and Lynette of Home Instead for their wonderful care of her.
