Margaret Mondick

Margaret Mehalacki Mondick, 89, of Ocean Springs (formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania), MS died Monday, June 20, 2011 at her home at the Villa Maria Apartments in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born March 31, 1922 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Milnarchik Mehalacki. Margaret raised three children in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Ocean Springs, Mississippi and helped raise two grandchildren. Up until her death, Margaret was an employee of the Ocean Springs Senior Citizen Center. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael, who died in 1990; brothers John and George; and sister, Mary. Survivors include a sister, Helen Andrayko; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Diana; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael; son and daughter-in-law, John and Patricia; grandchildren, Carla, Erica, John, Jr., Jeff, Mark, Jeremy, Matthew, Samantha; 9 step-grandchildren in Tucson; and many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with an 11:00 AM chapel service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
