Margaret Pethel Menius

Margaret Pethel Menius, 75, of Biloxi, MS went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 2, 2010. She was born January 11, 1935 in China Grove, North Carolina and married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life in February of 1951 and was looking forward to celebrating her 60th anniversary in February. She has been a resident of Biloxi for the past 37 years after faithfully supporting her husband's 24 year military service. She was a member of Big Ridge Baptist Church in D'Iberville and was retired from retail sales management. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Mrs. Menius is preceded in death by her parents, William Dale Pethel, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Pethel; one grandson, Michael Rivers. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Bobby R. Menius of Biloxi; son, Timothy H. Menius (Kathy) of Biloxi; daughter, Vickie M. Rivers (David) of Ocean Springs; brother, William Dale Pethel, Jr.; grandchildren, Bradley Patano (Leah), Christopher Rivers (Kimberly), Brian Menius (Becky), Kevin Menius (Alex), Tami Rivers-Broadhead (Jason); great-grandchildren, Landon Patano, Anniston Patano and Wyatt Broadhead. Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2010 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, West Biloxi from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Big Ridge Baptist Church, 3230 Big Ridge Road, D'Iberville, MS at 11:00 a..m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
