Margaret Sims

Mrs. Margaret "Polly" Sims, age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Sims worked for Dr. Clay E. Easterly as an office nurse for nineteen and a half years. After retiring from there she worked as an office nurse for seven and a half years for Dr. Harrell S. Pace and Dr. George A. Adcock. She retired from nursing in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband Nockie C. Sims, mother, Minnie Poe Spears, stepfather, Andrew Spears, and sister, Bonnie J. Grenier. Survivors include her son, David Keith (Lillian) Sims, grandson, Cary B. Sims, granddaughter, Rochelle L. (Brad) Montiforte, great-grandsons, Dylan B. Delancey, Drake M. Montiforte and Gavin C. Montiforte, and great-granddaughter, Brookelyn N. Montiforte. Mrs. Sims was very close to two families, the Elvin A. Asher family and Gerald and Cheryl Bracey. She called them her adopted families. Visitation will be on Friday, October 29, 2010, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
