Margarette M. Smith, 98, of Ocean Springs, MS died Monday, July 15, 2013 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Smith; her father, Burl R. Easterling; her mother, Estelle Moss Easterling; her step-mother, Anelle Easterling; her brothers, Woodrow W. Easterling, W.R. “Dick” Easterling, Harvey R. Easterling, L.C. Easterling, and Burl “Tommy” Easterling; her sisters, Vira Estelle Easterling and Vera Parker; her grandson, Larry W. Smith; and her daughter-in-law, Sonja W. Smith. She is survived by her son, Woodrow “Ken” Smith; her grandson, Jeffrey S. Smith; her brother, Billy Ray Easterling; and her sisters, H.S. “Alice” Glendenning and Barbara Smith. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
