Margot Allis Fawcett

Margot Allis Fawcett, age 76, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Margot had been a resident of St. Martin since 1970 and taught in the St. Martin School System for 25 years. She was an active KOPS in TOPS Chapter 281 in Ocean Springs. She enjoyed the monthly meetings with the St. Martin North retirees and her bunco crew. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Fawcett; son, Gregory Fawcett; and brother, Rocky Allis. Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Carsten) Wellman; son David (Candice) Fawcett; grandchildren, Kara (Sam) Fountain, Austin Wellman and Brandey Fawcett. A memorial service will be held at Lemoyne Blvd. Baptist Church on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 6pm. Friends are invited to visit 5-6pm. Interment will be held at a later date in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
