Marguerite Manton Bond

Marguerite Manton Bond, age 85, of Gulfport, died Monday, January 22, 2007 in Gulfport. Mrs. Bond was born in Bunker Hill, MS and had been a resdient of Gulfport since 1933. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Bond. Mrs. Bond is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Burns and her husband, Larry of Gulfport; two sons, Charles Richard Bond and his wife, Patricia of Gulfport and Danny Keith Bond of Taos, New Mexico; a special extended family member, Bernice Griffin; three grandchildren, Megan Nadine, Natlie Coy, and Macey Butler and her husband, Collier; and a great-granddaughter, Anna-Grace. The family extends special thanks to sitter, Yolanda Mullins and to Memorial Hospice. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. The family prefers memorials to Grace Memorial Baptist Church Bus Ministry, 2412 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
