Marguerite Morris

Marguerite D. Morris, 88, of Ocean Springs passed away August 7, 2006. Mrs. Morris was born in Mobile, Alabama and had been a longtime resident of Ocean Springs and was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She was a former member of Chapter 1765 National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Morris; her father, Paul J. Fassbender; her mother, Emaline Wurzlow Fassbender; a brother, Edward J. Fassbender; and two sisters, Elizabeth Dunlap and Sophie Stalcup. Survivors include her husband Sammie R. Morris; her son, Samme R. Morris, Jr. and wife Kitty Litton of Mobile, AL; a grandson, Jason Morris of Covington, LA; a granddaughter, Melissa Caylor of Enterprise, AL; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Brooke and fourteen nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. There will be another visitation held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Creekwood Church of Christ in Mobile, Alabama located at 1901 Shillinger Road. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Mobile National Cemetery located in Mobile, Alabama.
