Mrs. Marguerite Ladner Thompson, 67, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, June 5, 2006, in Biloxi. Mrs. Thompson was born in Foxworth, MS, and lived most of her life in Columbia. She had been a resident fo Biloxi for the past 14 years.. She was a member of N. Columbia Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her father, Robert Laverne "Peanut" Ladner; step-father, Oscar Raile. Survivors include her husband, George T. Thompson, of Biloxi; one son, Captain Jerroll D. Flynt, of Biloxi; one daughter, Scarlett Dowell, and her husband, Jimmy, of New Rose, LA; her mother, Anna Mack Raile of Biloxi; three brothers, Robert Ladner and his wife, Rose, of Little Rock, AR, Oscar Wayne Raile and his wife, Gloria, of Wise, VA, and Billy Don Raile and his wife, Patty, of Woolmarket; Three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia, MS.
The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
