Maria Corazon "Cora" Darrah

Maria Corazon “Cora” Darrah, age 82, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Mrs. Darrah had been living in Biloxi for 16 years. She was originally from the Philippines. She had been an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church of Biloxi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Darrah was a hostess for the Olive Garden in Indianapolis, IN for 11 years. She later worked with her husband in the storage industry until their retirement in 2011.

Mrs. Darrah was preceded in death by her parents, Isidro and Simplicia Villanueva; mother-in-law, Marjorie Darrah; son, Elizaldy Velasco; sister, Carmelita Davis; brother-in-law, Ed Davis; and sister-in-law, Margene Davis.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Ricky Darrah; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Penny Coates; and brother-in-law, Bill Darrah (Terry).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Friends may visit one hour before. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
