Maria Teresa Llamas

Maria was a loving and caring wife, Mom, grandma, sister, and friend. She left this world to be with her Savior on September 22, 2021, surrounded by her family who will continue to honor her legacy by living their life to the fullest. She was born to Bonifacio and Maria A, many, many moons ago on a far-away tropical island. She is survived by the love of her life and two beloved children. Maria’s abiding passions were her faith, family and friends. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with all her heart, soul, and strength. She is an avid reader, always sitting by a window reading her Bible or anything that sparked her interest. Not having a lot growing up was not a deterrent for Maria in pursuing her dreams. Together with her hunk of a husband Alejandro, they built a beautiful life for themselves and their children. She had a passion for travelling and took her family and her parents to many picturesque places in Europe, Asia and all over North America. Her life was a shining example of living out the Word of God She was the most generous person you will ever meet. She would give you the shirt she was wearing if you told her you liked it. She had such a giving heart that she did not even hesitate to give away her daughter’s own clothes - that she was literally just wearing a day prior. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Bonifacio; her sister Maria Luisa; her brother Edgardo; her nephew Rey; brothers-in-law Alberto and Ernesto. She is survived by the man of her dreams and her two children and their families, and her brothers and sisters: Viewing will be held at Bradford O’Keefe 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, MS on Thursday, September 30, 2021. From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS on Friday October 1, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow after at Biloxi National Cemetery at 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS. The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. Lastly, Maria would have wanted you to remember: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Her loving memories will be an enduring source of comfort and strength for her family. P.S. we ask that you save your lint and toilet paper rolls, Maria would have wanted you to always be prepared.
