Marian Brown Lamey

Marian Brown Lamey, 84, resident of Latimer community peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 and is having a joyful reunion with her loved ones in heaven. Mrs. Lamey was a life long resident of Latimer and a member of the Latimer Assembly of God Church. She was twice retired from JC Penny's, Edgewater Mall. Marian was an awesome homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Bo" Lamey; a son, Tony Woodrow Lamey; her parents, Charlie and Lizzie Brown; sister, Emmie Lois Chisman; and brother, Eddie Brown. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Lamey Cook (David); two sons, Dennis Lamey Sr., Rodney Lamey (Marisa) all of Biloxi; a sister, Alta Fern (Brown) Richard of Saucier, eight grand children, eleven great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Latimer Assembly of God Church at 11:00 a.m. where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow at Latimer Assembly of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Marian requested that donations be made to the Latimer Assembly of God Building Fund, 15401 Allie Byrd Rd, Ocean Springs, MS 39565.
