Marie A. Vizzini

Marie A. Vizzini, age 89, of Gulfport, died Tuesday December 16, 2008 in Gulfport. Miss Vizzini was born in Rochester, NY and had been a resident of the coast for over fifty years. She was a former longtime resident of Long Beach and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She retired in August of 1981 from Gulf National Bank as head cashier. Miss Vizzini was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Vincentina Dragotta Vizzini, and three brothers, Nicholas-Foster Vizzini, Joseph Vizzini, and Vincent Vizzini. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. The visitation will be held Friday December 19, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St. in Gulfport. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach where friends may visit thirty minutes before the Mass. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. The family prefers memorials to St. Thomas Catholic Church-Building Fund- 5557 Daugherty Rd., Long Beach, MS 39560.
