Marie Layton Medley

Marie Layton Medley, 91, of Ft. Worth, TX passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Ft. Worth. Marie was born September 30, 1926 in Iuka, MS to Millard & Athlee Layton. She was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Worth. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Rufus Medley; her parents; and two sisters. Marie’s survivors include her sons, Ed (Lisa) Medley of Keller, TX and Keith (Connie) Medley of Greer, SC; her daughter, Becky (Gary) Hampton of Rockledge, FL; her grandchildren, Kevin Hampton, Brock (Laura Beth) Medley, Brian Hampton, Andrea Medley, Stacey (Chris) Harvey, Daniel (Angela) Medley, Matthew (Kim) Medley, and Michael Medley; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
