Marie Wilkerson Hamilton

Mrs. Marie Wilkerson Hamilton, 71, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006, in Wilmington. Mrs. Hamilton was a native and longtime resident of Biloxi before moving to Wilmington over 20 years ago. She was of the Methodist faith and retired from Krispy Kreme. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, August and Espa Parker Fryou; her father, Henry Wilkerson; a sister, Marilla Pilney, and a brother, August Fryou, Jr. Survived by her daughter, Judith Richey of Gautier; three sons, James Gell of Wilmington, NC, Bill Camp of Leland, NC, and Gene Hamilton of Wilmington, NC; her sister, Gussie Wilson of Biloxi; two half sisters, Barbara and Joyce of Biloxi; two half brothers, David Wilkerson and Henry Wilkerson, Jr., both of Woolmarket; her step-mother, Dorothy Wilkerson; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
