Marjorie Bailey Daniel

Marjorie Bailey Daniel, age 87, of Gulfport, died Monday, March 23, 2009 in Mobile, AL. She was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport, moving to Mobile following Hurricane Katrina. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Gulfport and a former member of the Gulfport Yacht Club, Broadwater Country Club, Bayou Bluffs Tennis Club, Gulfport Junior Auxiliary, and a past queen of Merry Maskers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Daniel, Jr.; and three brothers, James E. "Buddy" Bailey, Charles A. Bailey, and Robert G. Bailey, Sr. Mrs. Daniel is survived by two daughters, Beth Daniel of Huntsville, AL and Amy Daniel of Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren, Patricia Patterson and Christopher Ptomey; and three great great-grandchildren, Gabe Patterson, Milner Patterson, and Chloe Patterson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 in the funeral home chapel where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service.
