Marjorie "Burt" Thackwray

Mrs. Majorie Burt Thackwray, 101, of Latimer, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Canton, MA. Bradford O' Keefe Funeral Home of Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thackwray was born on August 19, 1906 in Whitehall, New York. She was a homemaker, and had been a resident of Latimer for the past four years. Mrs. Thackwray is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thackwray; two sons, Dean and Lee Thackwray, Sr.; and her sister, Dorothy Andrews. She is survived by son and caregiver, Cyrus and Linda Thackwray; eight grandsons, Shane, Daren, Brett, Joe, Lee, Jr., Robert, and Anthony Thackwray, and Donald Jamieson; two granddaughters, Susan Justin and Shelly Drawdy; sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
