Marjorie Jeanette Alexander

Marjorie Jeanette Alexander, age 79 of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Alexander was a former member of the VFW Post 5699 Auxiliary and DAV Chapter 17 Auxiliary, both in Ocean Springs. She retired from BankCorp South after twenty years. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Alexander and her brother, Pearce Horne. She is survived by her children, Charlotte Wingate and husband, Gettis, George Alexander and Dawn Bosarge, Renee Kuffner and husband, Fred; grandchildren, Mandy Kinsey and husband, Kevin, Garrett Wingate and wife, Brooke, Haley Fancher and husband, Ben, Chelsey Alexander, Heath Massey and wife, Mindy and Cody Massey; great-grandchildren, Wynn Kinsey, Rynn Kinsey, Garron Wingate, Davis Wingate, Beckett Fancher and Lorelai Fancher; brother, Preston Horne and wife, Bobbie; sister-in-law, Audrey Horne; brothers-in-law, Hugh Alexander and wife, Bonnie and Earl Alexander and wife, Esther; sister-in-law, Texie Smith; several nieces, nephews and best friend, Carole Bickney. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
