Mark E. Damron, age 60, of Biloxi, passed following an extended illness on Sunday, March 13, 2022. He was at his home and in the company of his family at the time of his passing. Mark was born in West Point, Mississippi, on July 1, 1961. He graduated from Oak Hill Academy in West Point and attended Mississippi State University. He moved to the Gulf Coast in 1996, and has worked over 21 years as a Regional Director for Encore Rehabilitation, Inc.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Norma Marcus Damron. He is survived by his loving wife, Gaye Stewart-Damron, his sister, Johnnie Thompson, his brother, Bill Damron (Suzanne), his sister-in-law, Cindy Raybon (Mike), two nieces, Kandice Damron McNamee (Scott) and Elizabeth Damron Frazier (Chad), and two nephews, James Thompson and John Damron.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Park Pavilion, located at the corner of Highway 90 and Porter Avenue.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association.
