Mark Frere Ward

Mark Frere Ward, 43 of Gulfport, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in Ocean Springs. He was born June 19, 1965 in Washington, D.C., the son of Ann Frere Ward and Julius T. Ward. With his family, he moved from Maryland to Mississippi in 1976, where he attended and graduated from St. John High School in Gulfport. He was preceded in death in 1998 by his son, Robert Michael Ward. He is survived by another son, Christopher Thomas Ward of Long Beach; his parents, Ann Frere Ward and Julius T. Ward, both of Gulfport; a sister, Kimberly Ward Seal, of Long Beach; and two nieces, Bethany Seal and Amanda Seal, both of Long Beach. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Long Beach City Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to the American Heart Association, 2159 E.
