Marlene Elizabeth Sylvest

Mrs. Marlene Wynn Sylvest, age 58, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, December 7, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Sylvest was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in North Biloxi and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eula Wynn and two sisters, Judy Lynn Forehand and Joann Jimenez. Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Sylvest of Ocean Springs, MS., three daughters, Sheri (Patrick) Chandler of Chandler, AZ., Rachel Michelle (Ed) Downs of Tucson, AZ., and Lana Marie (Chris) Bidlack of Campbell, KY, a sister, Barbara (Jerry) Lepoma of Biloxi, MS., a brother, Robert "Sonny" (Renee) Wynn of D'Iberville, MS., two brother-in-laws, Leonard Forehand and Kevin Jimenez, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 10-11 AM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. An 11:15 AM graveside service will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to ones' favorite charity.
