Marsha Mitchell

Marsha Mitchell, age 52 years young, of Mobile, AL., went home Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Marsha Mitchell was born in Biloxi, MS., and graduated from Biloxi High School. She attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. After graduating she did post graduate studies at several other universities. Marsha's last employment was with Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Her last residence of record was with her parents in Ocean Springs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi. Marsha recently moved to Mobile after many years in Biloxi and Ocean Springs. She made the most of life as she was a tireless worker and great motivator. She always put others first while here on earth, and in her death she has done the same. Many others are receiving life from Marsha because she was an organ donor. Marsha was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Harmon Mitchell. She is survived by her father, Dr. Ray F. Mitchell, brother, Dr. Jim Mitchell, one son, Brian Davis and wife, Tracy, two beautiful grandsons, Micah and Joshua Davis, two nieces, Katy and Molly Mitchell, nephew, Jake Mitchell and a close personal friend, Tuellen Shaw, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to be counted. In honor of Marsha's mother, Dorothy Harmon Mitchell, the family requests memorials be made to the Alheimers Foundation of the South, 4803 Harrison Circle, Gulfport, MS., 39507. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21, 2006, from 2-4 PM, with a 4 PM memorial service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
