Martha Bess Fast

Martha Bess Fast, age 85, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, January 10, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Fast was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past forty-eight years. She was a bookkeeper for many years with the Ocean Springs State Bank and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Fast was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Vasco Martin Fast, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Katherine (Gene) Seymour; sons, Vasco Martin (Edwina) Fast, Jr. and Jerry Ronald Fast; grandchildren, Cherie Seymour (Charles) Lennard, Luke Seymour and Matthew Seymour and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
