Mary Ann Mann, age 78, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport.
She was born on October 17, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Tessie Netupski. Mary Ann was a longtime resident of Gulfport and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She received the Diocese of Biloxi Lumen Christi Award and was active in the St. Joseph Women’s Guild. She enjoyed tending to her rose garden, tennis, swimming and watching the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Lisa Burns; her sister Joanne Piontek and brothers Danny and David Netupski.
She is survived by her spouse William Mann; children Lori Glenn, Lynnette Mann and Scott Mann; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and siblings Raymond Netupski and Debbie Smith.
Memorial donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus or to the charity of your choice are preferred. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice.
There will be a Rosary on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12290 Depew Road, Gulfport, MS where friends may visit one hour prior to the Mass.
