Mary Lee Ashton

Mrs. Mary L. Ashton, age 79, of Biloxi, MS, passed away January 14, 2014 in Biloxi. She was a waitress and a private duty caregiver for many years. Mary was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Earl Ashton, and an infant daughter, JoAnn. She is survived by three sons, Kerry Ashton and Robby (Don) Ashton of Phoenix, AZ, and David (Kim) Ashton of St Martin; two grandchildren, Chris (Crystal) Ashton of D'Iberville, and Sara Ashton of St Martin; two great grandchildren, Conlan and Caiya Ashton of D'Iberville; and her sister, Dot Nichols of West Monroe, LA. She also leaves behind a special friend, Billy Sims of Biloxi. The family would like to thank the staff of Biloxi Community Living Center for their loving care these last three years and Gentiva Hospice for care provided in her final days. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
