Mary Elizabeth Crain

Mary Elizabeth Burton Crain, age, 78, of Gulfport died Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Gulfport. She was born in Sumrall, MS to Lee and Sophia Burton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Crain; and a daughter, Patricia Ann Butler Lewis. She is survived by daughters, Minnie Handy, Sherry Johnson, and Dr. Joy Hooper; a sister, Dorothy Bass; a brother, Junior Lee Burton; grandchildren, Jason Crain, Michael Handy, William Handy, Sean Johnson, Elaine Jackson, Jessica Jackson, and Jasmine Hooper; and three great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Gulfport where friends may visit at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
