Mary Martha Crawford

Mary Martha Crawford, 84, of Long beach died Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Long Beach. Mrs. Crawford was born in Gulfport and was a resident of the Gulf Coast most of her life. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from Beattie Monument Company where she was a bookkeeper. Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Auxiliary where she had over 2,000 volunteer hours. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jackson Crawford; her parents, Duncan and Helen McLaurin; and a sister, Helen Margaret Shirley. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Kennett (Scott) of Long Beach; her son, Duncan M. Crawford (Terri) of Gulfport; her sister, Anne Rosa Cossett of Ohio; three grandchildren, Stacie Ramsey, Stephanie Tootle and Michael Williams; and a great granddaughter, Olivia Ramsey. The funeral services will be Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport. The family prefers memorials to the Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Auxiliary, P.O. Box 1810, Gulfport, MS 39502.
