Mary Carle Crowell

Mary Carle Crowell, 89 of Gulfport died Thursday, Aust 12, 2021 in Gulfport. She was born April 3, 1932 in Glen Allan, MS. Her highest award in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved the song “Lean on Me”. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Minnie House; her husband, Lewis Crowell; a grandchild, Allison Schultheis; siblings, Jack House, Jessie House, Ruby Waldon, Jim House, willie “Bilbo” House, Elsie House. She was survived by her children, Michael Crowell (Ann), Jerald Crowell (Cynthia), Gail Hansen (Lewis); grandchildren, Kim Turner (Alan), Wesley Crowell (April), Beth Garthwait (Spencer) Katie Crowell, Austin Dumas (Candice); and nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Mosley. The family requests memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.
