Mrs. Mary E. Frost, 86, of Biloxi, MS, was called home Thursday, April 19, 2007. She will be remembered by all that love her as a woman who never met a stranger. Mrs. Frost was born July 4, 1920 in Norman, Oklahoma and was a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a member of J. T. Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church where anyone who entered was greeted with open arms and a hug. Over the past years she became fondly known as "The Card Lady". Her love of others shined with 39 years of volunteer work at Keesler Medical Center where she spent many hours holding hands, offering prayer and love to each patient. Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Col. Thomas G. Frost; parents, Herbert Parsons and Myrtle Willis, and a brother, Owen Parsons. Survivors include a son, Thomas G. Frost, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ; Daughter, Kathleen S. Kuehndorf of Biloxi; three grandchildren, Wayne J. Hutchinson, Cindy L. Stewart and Thomas G. Frost, III; three great grandchildren, Dalton Stewart, AsaMichelle and Austin Frost; sisters-in-law, Caroline Frost-Wilkerson and Betty Frost; Roc St. Martin, whom she called her adopted son; nieces and nephews. Visitation is Tuesday, April 24, 2007, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Celebration of Life Service will be in the "Resurrection Chapel" at J. T. Leggett United Methodist Church, Biloxi, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery. The family prefers memorials be made to the J. T. Leggett Memorial Methodist Church, 1410 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39530.
