Mary Elizabeth Carter Harloe

Mary Elizabeth Carter Harloe, a native of Yanceyville, NC, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012. In 1962, Lib and her family moved to Biloxi to open GEICO’s third branch office. Her interests included bridge, reading, crossword puzzles and her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Mathews Harloe Jr. and her son, Donn Carter Harloe. She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn (William) Ragsdale, Diana (Craig) Phillips and Jeanie Mills: daughter-in-law Deborah Harloe; nine grandchildren, Amy Rosonet, Beth Hayden, Jenna Radich, Greg Mills Jr., Steven Mills, Donn Mills, Justin Phillips, Danielle Zulli, Lauren Phillips: twelve great- grandchildren, Madison Rosonet, Austin Thomas, Gracie Mills, Greg & Katie Mills, Ella & Harloe Hayden, Piper, Silas & Greenlee Radich and Carter & Conor Mills. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Beauvoir United Methodist Church at 11:00 am with visitation from 10-11am. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park on Beach Blvd. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Beauvoir United Methodist Church in care of their Memorial fund.
