Mary Evelyn Lawson

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Lawson, age 94, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Saturday, March 13, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Lawson was born in Sweetwater, Alabama and was a resident of the coast for over 25 years. She owned and operated several businesses over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Earl Lawson and a son, William Mack Lawson. Survivors include two daughters, Willine Fillingham and Christine (Joseph) Hawler, a son, Jerry Mathers (Louise) Lawson, sister, Jean Pritchard, twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
