Mary Greer

Mrs. Mary Greer, age 86, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, April 4, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Greer loved to sew and create and was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Greer, a daughter, Geneva Walker and her parents, Jesse and Roxie Hughes. She is survived by a son, Willie Newman of Ocean Springs, two sisters, Gladys Williams of Grenada, MS., and Jessie Scott of Evanston, Illinois, a brother Homer Hughes of Grenada, MS., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, from 11:30 AM - 1 PM , with a 1 PM church service, all at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
