Mary J. Rumph Boone

Mrs. Mary J. Boone died December 22, 2006, at her daughter's home. She was 77. She was medically retired from Keesler Air Force Base civil service. Mrs. Boone was born in Hattiesburg and had been a resident of Biloxi for 55 years. She was a member of East Howard Avenue Baptist Church. Mary is survived by a brother, Donald Rumph, of California; sister-in-law, Mildred Boone, of Hattiesburg; her daughter, Donnet Poulos and her husband, David Poulos, Sr., of Biloxi; three grandchildren, David Poulos, Jr. of Biloxi, Jill Poulos of Alabama, and Stacey Poulos of Florida. Mrs. Boone was blessed with four great grandchildren, Devon and Cati of Biloxi and Lauren and Matthew of Florida. She will be sadly missed by her friends in Biloxi. Visitation is Tuesday, December 26, 2006, from 1 until 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis, MS. Graveside services will follow in the Boone Cemetery where she will be buried beside her husband, Ike. Donnet would like to thank Odyssey Hospice, especially Gina, for their care and tenderness during her illness. A very special thank you with love to David Graham, nephew of Mrs. Boone, of Purvis. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
