Mary C. Jensen

Mary C. Jensen of Ocean Springs MS, age 87, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, after a long struggle with heart disease. She was born January 1, 1935, in Knoxville TN to John Walter Canada and Patti McLemore. Mary has been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1972. She graduated from the University of Southern California and worked in the insurance field for many years. Gone but not forgotten, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Survivors are her loving husband, David Jensen; sister, Patti Canada, of St. Augustine FL; children; Michael (Kacie) Kiessig, of Littleton, CO; Cynthia (Steve) Chapra, of Weston, MA; Jeffrey (Carole) Kiessig, of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric Zala, of Ocean Springs, MS, Kurt (Yunmim) Zala, of Cambridge MA; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; and her cat, Jennifer.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to “The Lord Is My Help”, 1205 Desoto St. Ocean Springs, MS (P.O. Box 1544, Ocean Springs, MS 39564-1544). Friends and family are invited to a visitation at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 705 Rayburn Ave., Ocean Springs, MS, on February 8, 2022, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:30.
