Mary Lee Kinsey, 84, of D’Iberville died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Biloxi. Mrs. Kinsey was born January 15, 1932 and was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. In her younger years, she worked in the childcare business. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Kinsey was a longtime member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly.
Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husbands, Lovell Clifford Hosli and James Frank “Jimmy” Kinsey; her daughter, Wanda Kay Hosli; her parents, Joseph and Rosa Lean Jones; her brothers, Joseph, Jr. Willard, Launie, Lamar and Jessie Jones; and her sisters, Lillie Mae Saucier and Aunie Lee Gill.
Mrs. Kinsey’s survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Hosli (Don) Moore of St. Martin, Kathy Kinsey (David) Dunkin of Woolmarket and Brenda Kinsey (Jaron) Halsted of Hudson, NY; her 11 grandchildren, Aaron (Valerie) Moore, Ashleigh Moore (Brandon) Teates, Destiny Dunkin, Brianna Dunkin, Sierra Dunkin, Dakota Dunkin, Nicholas Halsted, Chelsea Halsted (Ethan) Tomlinson, Jaron “Ja-Mike” Halsted, Landon Halsted and Gavin Halsted; and her 7 great-grandchildren, Leif Moore, Corban Moore, Colton Miller, Ashdon Teates, Zaiden Teates, Charley Tomlinson and Maddie Tomlinson.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Mississippi Chapter, 1900 Dunbarton Dr. Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216 or Cedar Lake Christian Assembly Helping Hands Ministry, 11555 Cedar Lake Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time. Graveside services will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
