Mary Francis Lewis

Mary Francis Lewis, age 78, 631 Peyton Dr., Biloxi, Ms., died Tuesday, May 12, 2015. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. She attended Biloxi Colored School and M.F. Nichols High School, and became a Nursing Assistant in San Francisco, CA. She is preceded in death by parents, Janie Lewis “Lucy Jane Dukes” and John Lewis; brothers, Herbert Hugger, John Lewis Jr., Martin Riley Lewis, McKinley Hugger, Steve A. Lewis, Samuel Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Robert Earl Lewis; and sister, Dorothy Lewis Pendleton. Survived by daughter, Maumiska Anita Dacus, D’Iberville, MS; granddaughter, Evdoxia Tihara Dacus, Charlotte, NC; sister, Mozette Hugger Tancil, Lincoln, NE; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM, at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi with service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
