Mary K. Newton

Mrs. Mary K. Newton, age 84, died Sunday, January 15, 2017, in Biloxi. Mrs. Newton was a native of Independence, Kansas and had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1972. She was of the Methodist faith and a member and past Deputy Grand Region of the Women of the Moose. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Newton was preceded in death by her son, Leonard Newton, III and two daughters, Marilyn Newton and Linda Newton. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, SMSgt. Leonard Newton, USAF Ret.; one granddaughter, Malinda Rothrauff; great-grandson, Jaxon Hall; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
