Mary Alice Owen

Mary Alice Owen, age 96 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on March 6, 1926 in Ocean Springs to Henry and Mary Hovelmeier. She graduated from Ocean Springs High School. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casinos, puzzles, and crocheting.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Hovelmeier; child, Ricky Owen; siblings, Frances Carman and Dorothy Borries.

She is survived by her grandchild, Danielle Owen; Great grandchild, Frankie; and her cat, Scarlette.

The family would like to extend a thank you to her hospice team and all of the family.
