Mary Ellen Robinson

Mary Ellen (Tassin) Robinson, of Kenner, Louisiana, born on April 15, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Wess and Della Tassin, passed away at age 64 on March 12, 2018 in New Orleans. Mary was married to John Robinson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edmond Tassin (surviving wife, Darlene). Mary is survived by her sons, Dean Louis Baham Jr. and Shane Wess Baham Sr. (Mena); daughter, Tanya Baham Canty (Johnny IV); sisters, Barbara Tassin Brown (Rick), Sharon Tassin Bordelon (Danny), Gwen Tassin Coon (Joe), Paula Tassin Jernigan (late, Harvey); and grandchildren, Brooklyne Baham, Alexis Leblanc, Johnny Canty V, Phoebe Baham, Sita Baham, and Shane Wess Baham Jr. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband, gaming excursions with siblings, spending time with her grandkids hiking, boating, fishing, crabbing, and going to the beach, cooking for family and friends, eating boiled seafood, making candy for Christmas, and feeding birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. Whether you called her Wife, Mom, Sister, Sister-in-law, Cousin, Aunt, Memaw, Woo-woo, Meh-meh, or just Mary, our memories of her will live in our hearts forever. Friends and family can pay their respects at the wake on Friday, March 16, 2018. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS, 39530. Mary will be interred at Biloxi National Cemetery.
