She was a devoted Catholic and an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church where she was also an Eucharistic Minister. She was a devoted military wife for 58 years. During those years they spent much of their time traveling the world, meeting up many times with their friends of the Burtonwood Assosication. For the past 34 years she and her husband proudly owned M & L Gifts in Edgewater Mall, there they made many of friends. She was also active in organizations throughout her life; Girl Scout and Brownie Troop Leader, school teacher, Sunday school teacher. She was also retired from civil service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Sharkey of St. Helens England. She leaves behind her husband, Louis C.
