Mary Margaret Stokes Morris

Mrs. Mary Margaret Stokes Morris, age 84, of Vancleave, MS, died Sunday, September 8, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Morris was an artist and loved nature, birding, and gardening. She was very active in Holy Spirit and St. Alphonsus Catholic Churches. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Lawrence Morris, Jr.; and her parents, Earl and Ella King Stokes. Her survivors include her children, Mary (Stanley) Illich, Joe (Marsha) L. Morris, III, Mark (Carolyn) Morris, Hope Morris, Blaise Morris, and Luke (Carla) Morris; her grandchildren, Laura Morris, Steven Illich, Bernadette Klein, and Mitzi Collinsworth, Amy Beaugez Burke, Kim Beaugez, Jeremy Morris, and Autum Morris; her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Taylor, Dillin, Cody, Nicholas S., Andrew, Alex, Sean, Natalie, Eric, Nicholas R., and Charles; and her brothers, Earl Allen Stokes, Jr. and Ronald Lynn Stokes, both of California. Private services were held for family. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
