Mary Theresa Ladnier Bosarge

Mrs. Mary Theresa Ladnier Bosarge, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS. passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Bosarge was a lifelong resident of St. Martin and Ocean Springs. She was known to many as "Miss Mary" and was a very loving and caring person to all. She taught her family all about love above all, caring and sacrificing for others. Mrs. Bosarge was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and dearly loved the music at the 5:30 pm mass. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Bosarge, parents, Joseph and Emma Ladnier, uncle, John R. Basque and two great-grandsons. Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Bosarge Hillyard of St. Martin and Linda Bosarge (Billy) Casto of Andalusia, AL, a son Mark (Ginny Lynn) Bosarge of Ocean Springs, six grandchildren, Suzanne Hillyard Hawkins, Michael Hillyard, David George, Christy Long, Ashley Bosarge and John Bosarge, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Monday, January 23, 2012, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Bosarge Cemetery in St. Martin. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
