Mary Magdalen Wade

Mary Magdalen Boden Wade, 79, of D’Iberville died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in D’Iberville. Mary was born March 25, 1933 in Belleville, IL to Luke and Margaret Boden. She attended St. Henry’s Grade School and graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame in 1951. Mary was an organist at St. Henry’s Catholic Church for eight years and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville off and on from 1981 – 2002. She also played the organ for a very short time at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Mary was a Eucharistic Minister and a choir member at Sacred Heart, where she was also a recipient of the Bishop’s Service Cross in 1985. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Denise Fairbanks; her sister, Amelia Hook; her brothers, Alex Boden and Vince Boden; her first husband, Ervie Lee Fairbanks; and her second husband, Mark Joel Wade. Survivors include her sons, Michael (Mary) Fairbanks and Timothy Fairbanks; her daughters, Cynthia Wilke and Barbara Wade; her brother, Bill Boden; her step-sons, Mark Wade, Tim Wade and Randy Wade; her grandchildren, Angelia Sparks, Lee (Robert) Stricklin, Elizabeth (Cliff) Murphy, Joe (Sandra) Fairbanks, Ervie and Luke Fairbanks, Josh (Tiffany) Kincaid, Eric Kincaid, Tommy Wade, Brandi Wade, Idona (Paul) Donnelson and Susan Webb; and her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kaitlyn, James, Carmen, Roxanne, Graham, Tommy, Sara and Patrick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Committal Service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
