Maryann Paula Skrmetti Cummings

Mrs. Maryann Paula Skrmetti Cummings, 77, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Monday, April 30, 2007, in Biloxi. Maryann was a caregiver to us all. Throughout her life she watched over all her family and helped anyone in need. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had two daughters, Athaline Byrd Clark, deceased, and Laura Lea Cummings. She also took care of her three grandsons, Lionel Jr., Joseph and Matthew Clark. Maryanne leaves behind two brothers, Thomas and Patrick Skrmetti; her daughter, Laura Lea Cummings; her son-in-law, Lionel Clark, Sr.; Three grandsons, Lionel, Jr., Joseph and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren, Vincent and Maya Clark. Maryann will be missed by all. We are all thankful and lucky for having such a wonderful person take care of us. It is now Jesus' turn to take care of her. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi with Rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time.
