Matilda Alberta Ruth Hill-Rogers

Matilda Alberta Ruth Hill Rogers, 73 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, joined our Father in Heaven on Monday, March 30, 2009. She was a graduate of Biloxi High School, Biloxi, MS, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Goose Creek, SC and The Red Hat Society and Homemakers Club of Boles, AR. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jimmie Rogers, father and mother, David and Matilda Hill, two brothers, Henry and August Hill and two sisters, Mae Theriot and Connie Guagliardo. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy (Butch) Bunn of Goose Creek, SC; one son, Larry (Cecilia) Rogers of Summersfield, Illinois; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers, Turner (Ethel) Hill of George County, Leon (Helen) Hill of Ocean Springs and Lawrence (Romeena) Hill of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Linda (Dwayne) Matthews of Biloxi and Shirley Gilbert of Vancleave; two sisters-in-law, LaDonice Hill of Vancleave and Rena Hill of Ocean Springs; one brother-in-law, Sam Guagliardo of Morgan City, LA and many loved nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes, where friends may visit two hours prior to service. Burial to follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
