Matthew Miller

Matthew Lindsey Miller, age 29, passed away Wednesday morning, November 23, 2005, in Gulfport. Matt was born in Gulfport on September 3, 1976. He worked at the Great Southern Golf Course until August 29, and he was a student at the University of Southern Mississipp on the Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. Wilson T. Miller, Sr. He is survived by his wife Thelma; his one year old son, Henry; his parents, Eddy and Diane Miller; and his grandmother Syble Miller all of Gulfport; one brother Owen Miller and his wife Hollie of Fort Collins, Colorado; his grandparents Dewey and Sarah Hunt Martin of Booneville, Mississippi. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 12:00 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the library at Westminster Academy, 5003 Lawson Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507. Matt spent the happiest years of his life at Westminster and that is where he developed his lifelong love of reading.
